The topic I have decided to base my project on is gothic fashion. My main idea is to shot in a graveyard – relating to the gothic nature – and have my most gothic friend who has a range of gothic clothes to be my model. Transport isn’t needed for my location, since it’s in Witney and only within walking distance.
I will be basing my work on Rebeca Saray. She is a gothic photographer who uses thin, seductive girls for her shots. The model I will using – Natasha Hughes – will be perfect for this.
Rebeca Saray like using various different gothic outfits in her shots, and sometimes she delves into another category – fine art – where the model is naked. I won’t be doing this for obvious reasons – I’m just sticking to gothic fashion.
Rebeca Saray’s purpose of her photography is that she wants to please that ‘goth’ crowd out there. Rebeca also tends to take pictures of the models’ faces but they have been made-up to look like gothic dolls or over-the-top, really nice gothicness.
