Statement of Intent
The topic I have decided to base my project on is gothic fashion. My main idea is to shot in a graveyard – relating to the gothic nature – and have my most gothic friend who has a range of gothic clothes to be my model. Transport isn’t needed for my location, since it’s in Witney and only within walking distance.
I will be basing my work on Rebeca Saray. She is a gothic photographer who uses thin, seductive girls for her shots. The model I will using – Natasha Hughes – will be perfect for this.
Rebeca Saray like using various different gothic outfits in her shots, and sometimes she delves into another category – fine art – where the model is naked. I won’t be doing this for obvious reasons – I’m just sticking to gothic fashion.

Photographers
David La Chapelle takes pictures of fashion of an out-wordly nature. The fashion shoots are often set in normal, everyday life setting, but sometimes he gets a little creative and adds a few twists to his shots.
Bill Brandt likes to set the scenery in black and white, almost depressing in most. Often, there will be a person or people placed in the photo, adding to it.
Barbara Kruger sets her background image in black and white, to make the advertising writing bolder, with the writing being in red.
